Show latest post on static wordpress frontpage, how?

blakes7rulesok asked:

I have a wordpress blog with a Static Front Page. The front page was created via, Write, Page option.

How can I get it to show the latest post or latest two posts from the blog which serves as my news section?

Is there something I can add to the page to make it show or do I have to handcode something?

Hey,

Here’s your answer..

I tried this being a non-programmer and newbie at PHP, I was able to get my latest 5 blog posts uncategorically show up at the home page at the end of the body..

Follow me on twitter if you require further help and DM me.

Here’s the link:

This is simply cool. Amazing. Thanks to moshu for writing this that even a newbie can understand.
