How do I use it?
I read the directions, but don’t understand them.
I installed it, but I don’t know what to do now…
I don’t even think I installed it…Just downloaded it…

Wait, so do you have all the files installed, and an already purchased server and FTP setup for that server?
Do you have web-host? If yes, and your web-host is running Cpanel as the control panel – look for the ‘fantastico’ icon – with that tool, you can install wordpress with just a few clicks of your mouse.
you could host your wordpress files first into a free web host with cpanel and mysql and other thing you need has a cpanel with “site software” (instead of Fantastico) but still able to install WordPress in a click
once installed you could log in first (you’d know that during the installation) and create or WRITE posts (or articles) and PAGES (static pages, something about your site for example), and to add features on your site, you could download plugins from the WordPress plugin directory and upload it then activate it on your admin panel under PLUG INS (if you’re using WordPress 2.5).
In short it’s a publishing software, it’s been popular for blogging, but is growing to be a CMS (content management software) too now adays.

If not, you should go through that process first.
Hi Rebel,

Best wishes,
