Wordpress Script Error?

momrocks2 asked:

I created a wordpress blog at another blog site that has them pre-installed. When I try to write in the blog, the editor does not appear and I get this error:

Error: ‘realTinyMCE’ is undefined
Line: 44

Is this a wordpress issue and the owner of the site has to fix it or is it something that I can fix myself on my computer? If I can fix it myself, then how do I do that?

Example of what it looks like:

Example of what it is SUPOSE to look like:

Any help would be greatly appreciated…

Try disabling your plugins and see if it fixes the problem. If it does, re-enable them one by one and see if any of them are causing the issue.

Alternatively, as a workaround, try going to the dashboard, go to users, your profile, and unchecking the checkbox up top that says “Use the visual editor when writing”.
