MaxBlogPress Revived Project [UPDATES]

I am sure by now you have heard about our little project which takes dead plugins and turn them into crazy workaholics for your blog – It’s called MaxBlogPress Revived and for full details go here.

Here are the 4 plugins we’ve resurrect so far:

Plugin #1 – Flash Fader Revived

Flash Fader Revived adds live to your blog by enabling flash slideshows on your posts, pages and sidebars. You have no limitation in size of the flash movie, plus the flash file will appear within seconds, where you want it to be.

Plugin #2 – Easy Custom Fields

This cool plugin allows you easily build a list of custom fields via Drag and Drop which will appear in the ”Write Post” page.

Plugin #3 – Post Format Control

With Post Format Control you can now take complete control of text formatting options on your blog including posts and comments.

Plugin #4 – Access By Category

Would you like to have control access to blog categories according to user roles? Now that’s possible with Access By Category. This plugin gives administrator a complete control over the categories in a blog.

Are you planning to restore PodPress? I know you had several requests to do so – and its in dire need of updating… please?

  I’ll want to wait a while before jumping into PodPress. It was last updated on February and 3 developers are already working on it.
  
  If I don’t see any new developments then we might take over the development and release the fixed version.
  
  It’s quite huge plugin with lots of feature. It’s not a surprise that there are some bugs.

    Podcasting is a plugin that I’ve found to be better than PodPress anyway… and it’s constantly updated. Just do a search for Podcasting in the WordPress Extend plugin directory.

Wow awesome job! I should have submitted a few that I used to use but have gone the way of the buffalo such as cross posters for Xanga and MySpace.

This is an excellent project. I was disappointed, when browsing the plugins, to see how many had not been updated to the latest release. Plugins are such an important feature of WordPress – I’m glad you’re helping to keep them fresh!
