Even Blogs Ride the Roller Coaster
The economic growth in the last years gave average folks and entrepreneurs worldwide lots of ideas.
Full of hopes, lots of them took the jump and launched their first blog.
The advantage: drop down hosting prices and an ‘even-a-granny-could-use-it’ web interface
Anyone with a reliable hosting account could manage their word-press blog and install it with just a few mouse clicks
Would anyone expect their blogs to look like a ghost town?
Not at all! Most bloggers were displeasingly hit by the unexpected… they built the blog, but not too many were rushing to check it out!
The problem was that nobody told these bloggers the BIG problem - traffic is what will eventually take their new blog to the next level, or let it collect dust.
And one way to get traffic is to pay for it, but not everybody can afford it; plus, nobody could guarantee that will pay off, right?
Most blogs are looking like they’re in a roller coaster; they might see a sudden spike in traffic, then they falloff miserably, and never rise up again.
The solution would be to enable your blog with an ‘anti roller coaster’ option and when the ride happens again, at least, you’ll be able to rise up, higher than before.
This option is quite amazing; you can get returning visitors on your blog with just a simple web form [it’s not an RSS feed!]
Whenever you want more traffic, you just step into this pool, and get as much as you want, without having to pay anybody for doing so!
The best part is that once you own the traffic, you can control and recycle it as you wish; for example, you could send the same people to various affiliate offers and special promos, thus making you more money over time.
Or, you could have blog contests and drive viral traffic that goes back into your list, and so on, like a domino effect!
Your blog can now safely ride the roller coaster again and fight the low traffic ‘turbulence’ with a simple web form.
Stay tuned for more info on what’s coming next! You don’t want to miss on this…

Very interesting post.
I’m looking forward to learning more
nice post, you are my mentor
Sound extremely interesting. Nice hook you have used to keep us wondering what it is and wanting more. I look forward to learning more.
The original intent of my current blog is for my political plans for next year’s election but I have decided that I still cannot afford the expenses of the campaign.
Luckily, I came across a Filipino marketer and decided to put up my own Making money online blog. With proper knowledge and training on SEO, my blog is now rising steadily in Alexa ranking. I hope to reach 100,000 raking by the end of this year.
Hopefully, I could sustain and never experience the roller coaster stage! =)
Hey,
Thanks for the another great post, it always very informative.

Mailing list? I like the idea but how much is it gonna be? free or not? Do a lot of people come back?
Many questions…
You got me wondering what the heck you are going to come up with.
This is a good way to get people to open up your next email.
Anyway, I’m looking forward to it.
Who wouldn’t appreciate more traffic?
I’m curious what the mystery option will be.
Looking forward to it when it finally will be revealed!
I think most newbies hear how easy blogging is but don’t take the time to actually learn how to get traffic and they give up after a few weeks of not seeing tons of people flocking to their site.
I have been a fan of Maxblogpress for some time. You have my attention yet again.
So what gives??
Kevin
Ok. You’ve got my attention. I am curious as to what you’re proposing.
Mmmmmm..Hmmmm, I do love surprises!! Keep them coming
Thanks for sharing your opinion.
Yup, there are ups and downs when managing a blog. The things is we must learn the ins and outs of blogging so that we can maintain a successful blog.
Its an email list, set up via some email list service such as aweber or etc. Just drive viral traffic via a give-away contest. Then follow up with them afterwards with your new posts when times get rough.
I have a blog that now has traffic that looks like a roller coaster, but what I’ve found is that its because the interest from users are spiked by the industry leader’s “commercials” in my topic.
I don’t want to be a mood kill, but waiting for the answer (ie, being hooked by info) isn’t always going to solve your problem. Sometimes it takes turning the blinders on and really taking the time to understand what you see in your websites market.
Take the time to understand your market. It helps.
Hi,
You are SO right!! The ultimate aim of any online activity should be list building, just the like one you suggesting above. Once trust is established between blogger and the list via means of the valuable content on the blog, you can always direct your list towards your offer and so on.

Amarjit
what the simple web form is it? i am looking forward to learn it here
Does anyone know what the signup rates are for optin forms? How much traffic do you need to get people to opt in? Also, is the unblockable popup approach as good as or not as good as an op-page optin or in-post optin? Are there any stats anywhere on this?
