Keyword Success With A Software
Since I have been exposed to world of Internet Marketing in June 2007, I have been trying many different ways and means to start making my first dollar online.
I started with PPC advertising LCD TVs with Google AdWords promoting products from Amazon. Though I made some money, it was just enough to cover the cost of the advertizing that I had to pay Google.
After many months of trying different things, I finally sat down and started thinking what is it that I am passionate about and would want to use the Internet Marketing as a channel of promoting my products and I got it.
Before venturing into the wonderful world of Internet Marketing, I was promoting a range of health supplement through direct selling and wanted to seek a way out as I have not been gaining success with the business. However, I discover I still like to promote the health supplement especially one of those is a cholesterol supplements that lower my cholesterol to a normal cholesterol level.
After I finally realized my passion, I was vigorously blogging about it at my health blog promoting information for individuals who wants to achieve a healthy living with natural health supplement. But, I was still not gaining much success with it and the views were actually pathetic with less than 10 per day.
I know that it is not easy to get traffic especially in a competitive in the health supplement market where there are millions of web pages out there competing on products to slim down and lose belly fat, lowering bad LDL cholesterol, increasing good HDL cholesterol, constipation remedies, breast exam to detect breast lump and home business opportunity and etc.
But I was determined to work on it as I know how the products that I am marketing will help lots of people.
Being in the Internet Marketing industry, I am on the mailing lists of many Internet Marketing gurus and it was one of those days where I got an email promoting a software that claims to be one the best available.
Maybe this post will not be published because I am promoting someone elses’ software out there but thought I should share with so many bloggers out there especially when I have had the frustration of not gaining success after blogging for more than 18 months.
What is the software?
It is actually a keyword research software product called Market Samurai.
I had no idea what it was actually thinking it is just another software out there that doesn’t work and yet promises the world but to my surprise, I started seeing results in a month.
I was focusing a lot on a product that helps people to lose belly fat and lose inches and previously, I have been either focusing on a keyword with too much competition or a keyword with no commercial value, until I started using Market Samurai.
Since using Market Samurai for just a month, I was able to rank on the 1st page of Yahoo! with the keyword of How To Slim Down with more than 93 million competition.
Now, I am able to have a keyword phrase that makes human sense and not just for SEO purposes and getting good rankings for it:

Though I am not able to get on the 1st page of listing on Google, I have managed to get indexed by Google with the keyword how to slim down within a month.

Yeah, I’ve used it too. It’s not just a keyword research tool. It’s far more powerful than that.
Peoples at Noble Samurai done great job developing this software and they’re not finish with it. They don’t even bother with affiliate program to market the software.

I’ll give your choice of keyword tools a huge thumbs up I’ve been using it since it first came out and I love it, however I will say that I use it in conjunction with a tool that most people may not even know of.
It’s free and has been right in front of you every single day for a while now: Google’s wonder Wheel.
You’re absolutely right about the old fashioned 1 and 2 word phrases pretty much a waste of time in my opinion.
I was bored one day and went after internet marketing and online marketing and with in 2 days had a first page Google Blog listing in 2 days.
Sure I got some traffic from it but, it’s so broad and those visitors never stick. So I’m back to long tail only and yeah it takes a lot more phrases to equal the same amount of traffic but when they land on your page they are there for a while.
I would still recommend Market Samurai, but I don’t use it alone.
Well between you and I we’ve officially added some more competition to what was a pretty easy way to get first page listings.
That’s OK though that’s what keeps you on your toes and always testing to see what it takes to win.

PS I don’t think they have an affiliate program, but there are just some things you have to tell the world about anyway.
I am also using Adwords for instant listing and it cost more and more each day. Will try some cheaper or better ways instead.

I have found out when you make a post in your blog, it is smart to put in your title the main keyword about your content in that post.
Google picks up that keyword and when someone searches for that subject, google will put your title in the search results for the searcher to select.
My blogs name is “My-healthy.info/4u” and some times google puts the blog name first and then the title of the post below it on the keyword subject.
It works for me very well, as I get some good google referrals now from their SE results

I couldn’t agree more: Market Samurai is the most important software I am using. Fortunately I got it back in January when it was less expensive – and there were many free updates since then. Especially recently a lot of additional functionality was added – i.e. I love the Page Rank tool. This way you can track the ranking of your sites for different keywords and don’t need another tool.
The videos on their blog are also excellent…
No matter which niche you are in: you will be amazed by some of the results of your keyword research: I routinely stumble upon keywords that allow me to rank on the first page of google within a day or two – without any off page SEO done yet…
And yes – too bad they don’t have an affiliate program (yet?) – they allowed Mike Filsaime to promote it early ’09 but that was is AFAIK…

wow nice software, in fact earn $$ from affiliate program is hard for newbie (like me) especially when they promote it via Adwords.. if they got ROI, that’s better than nothing..

I completly agree with about everything in the post and comments. I’ve had Market Samari since last summer when I took the 30 Day Challenge. The Thirty Day Challenge was great and I learned a lot from it. It is even better this year.
Back to Market Samari, they have added a great deal to it including monitization modules. Awesome…
I think the big thing though is there are so many great training videos now including the ones in this years 30DC that it is understandable. Last year I had no experience in IM and Guru Bob looking at the info and saying this one was good seemed more like divination rather than SEO Science. Now however it is all being explained very well.
