Blogging Story

I am new blogger online and I have had some success with it,nothing serious. I have 51 sign up and 1 sale so far.Blog was instaled at July 27th 2009. Blog

Just to give you few pictures here:

1.New Domain -at July 27th 2009-installed blog through fantastico software in the cPanel

2. AWeber signups

I was testing squeeze pages and I would advertise them on my blog:

The best one is: shocking_free_report (20) sign ups

Second best is: squeeze2

Third place : squeeze

My firs sale from that new blog

It is about website flipping 21 week coaching product that cost $485 and it locks in 30 days. This is 14 day trial sale.I should get 50% if buyer decide to stay and learn.I have a banner on my blog and conversion is 1% which is standard conversion with SEO. This was done in 20 days more less.

Process: I would blog about my JV with a J.Brooke and Jordan Hall. What we do and how it’s done.In the post I would insert advertisement about my free report on topic and the page where it can be downloaded. In the report would be something about topic and in the end sales letter.

Advertising: Blog is new,it was social-bookmarked, rrs feed was syndicated.Few articles posted on the ezinearticle.com,goarticle and articledashboard.I don’t know how many, less then 5,few comments on other blogs, less then 10.

Before article writing, I would Google my competitors for keywords and then write something like us vs.them.why are we better? Point out my benefits and point out his flaws.

This is not much but if you can outsource it,every step, maybe it can be more.

Thank you

Kathy

    Hi Katarina,

    A trully inspirational story.

One that proves that the internet only needs your participation :) .

Have you tried selling some ad space on buysellads.com?

I think that could take your moolah generation to the “next level” ;)

    Cheers and god bless,
    Jamal (aks SEO Padawan)

    Hello Kathy/Jamal,

This is a great success. Could you perhaps put together a guide of how to do this kind of thing. I have been trying for a while to generate more revenue from my sites but it’s not going very well at the moment!

    Kathy,

I second Jim’s request. A detailed “how to” or how you accomplished what you did would be great. My blog has some visitors, but I’d like to take it to another level.

That’s a good post. My blog is about vacations to a certain part of the US, mainly one county in a state. Your way of doing things is great, but I’m not sure how this method would work on a travel blog. It would be interesting to find out.

    Congratulations.

I have got a few more sales than you but a lot less sign ups so far which is frustrating, although my blog has only been going since the beginning of this month.

Most annoying, need to work on it!

    Best

    Justin
