All these plugins are great, I wish there was a way to promote them with an affiliate link like the DealDotCom widget.
Larry, you can actually promote all the plugins using the affiliate links.

Thanks Pawan,
I must of missed that. I use all of these. On another note, people are still downloading your Fix My Ebooks. Thanks again.
I love the plugin. It’s given me a great way to display a disclaimer on load to my users.
There’s a little conflict I’m not sure how to resolve though. If there’s an embedded video (WPvideo plugin) the video overlays the loaded page. Anyone got suggestions?
CG, that’s quite creative way to use this plugin.
I’ll check if we can make the popup load over the video. If we find the solution then we’ll add that fix in the next version.
It’s truely a wonderful plugin guys
The more I use it the more I like it.
I’ve looked at the video issue. It appears to happen with the youtube videos, not for example liveleak.
Perhaps a new idea for a feature: would it be possible though, perhaps, to include a check button so the ad doesn’t pop up for logged in users?
CG, we appreciate your valuable comments. We might add this feature in our upcoming versions if we find it useful.
Hi Pawan
Your plug ins are fantastic.
Absolutely simple to use and the last one saved me a ton of money around $150 if I recall the price of the pop up light box style plug in is around that price
Great work.
Take care
Ps Pawan I need some wordpress work done ( programming )
Can you recommend or send me in the right direction. )
Many thanks
Hamant Keval.
Ps I did send you some info through the contact form . No reply as of yet
Take care and keep bringing us these cool plug ins
Thanks, Hamant.
I’ve replied your email.
Hi Pawan .
Many thanks for the resources and the auto scripts.
I was actually looking for someone to design some themes from more or less scratch
Thanks again
Hamant
Hi,
Your popup pluging is great! just what I was looking for my girlfriends site http://www.CompleteHomeOrganizing.com
Can you do a style like the one displied here: http://www.JustDogClothes.com/ border size and close button?
HI
just installed your plugin but app there is a conflict if i try to install an optin-form (javascript)
is there a way to istall opt-in?
thanks
wouter
Wouter, seems like javascript in your optin-form is conflicting with javascript of MaxBlogPress Unblockable Popup. Could you please send us your optin-form code, so that we can check what actually is creating conflict.
You can send your optin-form code via URL below:
http://www.maxblogpress.com/contact-us/
The Unblockable Popup plugin is really a great idea.
But I have trouble with it. After I put in the HTML code of my subscription form code into the popup text box and then change it to text and again to HTML I see that the code is messed.
For example, turns to and so on. In result the Subscribe button doesn’t work.
What shall I do to fix that?
Thanks.
Bogdan, make sure that you switch to “viewSource” by clicking on “HTML” button on toolbar of popup text box. Now only your subscription form code should be pasted in the popup text box. Hope this will work fine for you.
I have put this plug in in these 2 web sites, but popup don0′t appear, nd I don’t understand why..
http://www.guidacasino.eu
http://www.1casinoguide.info
Matteo, I checked both of your websites. The popup is being displayed in both the websites but is hiding behind the flash object.
We’ll be releasing the new version of this plugin soon which will solve this bug as well
I have installed the plugin and it is not working on my site I am not sure why. there is not alot of flash objects on my page
http://www.portablemediaconnection.com
greg, it might be because of the following:
1. Check if your wordpress theme has wp_head() in its header.php file. wp_head() is the must for this plugin to work.
2. Simply activation of this plugin won’t show popup. You also need to enter the popup’s title and body text in Options >> MBPUnblockablePopup
I will check for the wp_head in my header.php, I do have info filled in the title etc..
That was the problem I added wp_head and it is working great now. Thank you very much for a great plugin.
Great plugin man, a real must have.
One question.
Is there any way to make the link at the bottom an affiliate link?
Ian
Blue Mountains, Australia
Ian, we’ll be updating the MaxBlogPress Unblockable Popup plugin soon, and if we find your suggestion good, we might incorporate it as well in our new release.
I have the same issue with the flash thing messing it up. My pop up does not show either.
I really hope the update comes soon.
I was really looking forward to seeing this in action.
The site I am trying to get it on is below….
Free PSP Game Downloads
We are right now working with few other plugins. We’ll be updating the MaxBlogPress Unblockable Popup plugin soon. Once we release the updated version we’ll be announcing it here.
Hy …
I am wondering about this script …
but this is for wordpress … i want to integrate in my website … i can ?
laffin, MaxBlogPress Unblockable Popup is a wordpress plugin, i.e. it can be installed and used only in wordpress blogs.
Only wordpress :(( …
I really need this on my website …
You know a similar script ?
Thannk you!
laffin
You can find number of popup scripts on the web. Well you can try with search keywords like “dhtml popup” in google. Hope you’ll find one there.
Thank you suman … i search .. but i don`t find one good like this … whit lightbox effect, once per day shown …etc
Thank you!
laffin
Found a small bug. If you use this character:
‘
In the text editor (just like in the word “it’s” for instance) the popup does not show…
Solution:
Just after the $upop_txt var declartion line in the code.
God Bless,
Roel
Ah it did not show the code…
$upop_txt = str_replace(”‘”,”\’”,$upop_txt);
between PHP start and end tags.
There’s another small issue. On a slower loading site it loads the page and the popup but then blacks out the page (with lightbox). If the popup is closed BEFORE the page is fully loaded the page remains black. Can this be changed in the code?
Roel, we’ve already put these issues in our to do list, which we hope will be fixed in the upcoming version.
What I miss is a “show on exit” setting. Any plans on adding that?
Michael
Michael, we might add this option in the next version of the plugin if we really find it useful.
Suggestions -
I love this plug in and have been testing it for a few weeks
Works great
One thing that I would like is a delay time of some sort wold be fantastic
Many thanks
Hamant
Hamant, we do appreciate your valuable comments. But I am quite confused where exactly do you want to impose a delay? Is it while loading the popup?
I have installed the plugin on my site. It works perfectly in IE7 but in Firefox the popup is transparent. What have I done wrong? And how can I fix this?
Chris, I visited your website but didn’t see any popup, might be because you’ve deactivated the plugin. Well that could be javascript problem.
It would have been better if I could see the popup in action in your website. It would have helped me in testing this plugin.
Hey, I’ve just solved the problem. I was using a background color that was not in the official list. When I switched to one of the standard colors it works fine.
Hi Suman
Yes I was thinking that when someone is on the blog - it would be nice to have say 10/15 seconds or anything like that so that they get a chance to see the main page before the pop up appears.
Thanks
Hamant
Hamant, we are soon upgrading this plugin and hope to add this delay option.
I would like to use the popup to show a sponsor’s DVD Of The Day but their code is an iframe and it gets all gobbled up after putting it in the text box.
Jim, you can very well use iframe with this plugin. Make sure that you follow the following steps:
1. Go to Options >> MBPUnblockablePopup
2. Now in popup text box, switch to text mode by clicking “HTML” button in the toolbar, and paste your iframe code there
3. Switch back to html mode by clicking on “TEXT” button in the toolbar. You should see your add in the box.
4. Finally click on “Save” button
Thanks Suman. I thought I tried it that way but must not have because it is now working using your instructions.
Jim
I’ve sent you my email address twice now but have not received my information to download the plugin. Please do NOT spam me. Thank you.
Jeff,
I checked your subscription status and it is not verified yet. You must click on the confirmation link in confirmation email.
After you confirm your subscription you’ll receive another email with the download link.
We use double opt-in subscription and we won’t send you any newsletter or email until you confirm that you want to receive email from us.
I have just checked my site in IE6 and for some reason the popup keeps ‘popping up’ every time I change pages. I have set it in the admin only to appear once each time the browser is opened. It works perfectly in IE7 and Firefox, but won’t disappear in IE6. Is this a known bug and is there a fix for it?
My site is at http://www.nzenergy-environment.co.nz/home (It’s only partially built).
Chris, I just browsed your website in IE6 and Firefox. The popup is being shown twice in both the browsers. Make sure you select
Show popup: Once until browser is closed in Options >> MBPUnblockablePopup
Thanks Suman. I have changed it to ‘Show popup once until browser is closed”. But it is still popping up on every page for me. However, I am using a version of IE6 that is installed on my desktop, simply for checking sites. This version of IE6 may not be showinng the same as IE6 shows on the web. Could you please check http:/www.nzenergy-environment.co.nz/home in your version of IE6 and see if the popup only appears once? Thanks.
Chris
I just checked your website in IE6 and the popup is working fine. It appears just once until I close the browser.
Thanks Suman
Great Plugin! I love it!
I’ve a suggestion, and hoppefully you might be able to work it out on the next release:
is it possible to costumize the position where the pop up is shown? I mean, if I don’t want it to be displayed on the center of the page, but rather on the upper right corner or something. Can that be don?
Thank you very much for such a great work!
damian, it can be done but as of now there is no option in Options >> MBPUnblockablePopup for positioning the popup. We’ll be adding this option in the next release of this plugin.
I uploaded the plug in on my control panel but it is not showing up in my word press plug ins area through the word press admin area? Is there something I was suppose to do? Did I miss something?
Thanks I would really like to use this plug in it sounds great!
I figured it out there were two folders had to make just one folder zipped in order to have it work in control panel.
Thanks.
Everything seems to be working
fine in IE but in FF there are
no Close or Minimize boxes showing up?
A fix for this?
JJ, I tried opening your site but seems like the URL isn’t correct. Could you please give me the correct URL with this plugin enabled, so that I can check out what exactly is the problem.
OK I just enabled the plug in and yup your rigth I had an extra letter int he URL
JJ, seems like the image files are missing. Could you please check if there are image files in location “wp-content/plugins/maxblogpress-unblockable-popup/images/” in your blog.
That did the trick suman! Thank you. Not sure how that happened when I uploaded through FTP but it did.
Great plugin guys!
Will the next release let us put our affiliate code in the pop up?
Just about all my customers want to know how it is done.
When they find out or I tell them, I would like the commissions.
Again,
Great work ! Keep ‘em coming.
Warmest Regards,
Paul Richardson
http://mlmvideoguide.com
Of course, Paul. Not only this plugin but we are updating all the plugins so that you can put your affiliate code in the “Powered by MaxBlogPress” link.
Also, look forward for the new version of MaxBlogPress Unblockable Popup where we are going to add some new features which many of the users were suggesting. It will be released within few days.
On the next release would be great
if there is an option for a popup
on each page as well as the blog root.
Let me know.
Warmest Regards,
Paul Richardson
http://mlmvideoguide.com
Paul, we appreciate your valuable comments. We might implement them in the next release of this plugin.
Paul, this plugin displays the popup in each page as well as the blog root by default.
If you set the “show popup” option as “Every time page is loaded” then you’ll notice the popup is shown in each page.
Great plugin!
I’m using it here: German Shepherd Dog Training - and all is well.
Although, I’m trying to capture a visitors email/name (as many commentors have posted their examples here) - by copying and pasting the code for my “WP Opt-in” WordPress plugin (http://neppe.no/wordpress/wp-opt-in/) - but that does NOT work.
Any ideas as to how to make the source code for a plugin such as an opt-in form work?
Best Regards,
Martin E
Got it working!
Thanks!
This is quite a clever pop-up generator, I am really glad I found your site.
I find that I am having a problem with the display of the ‘minimize’ & ‘close’ icons on the pop up itself, they do not seem to be displaying properly.
Example image:
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v27/bluekillion/example-popup.jpg
Is there a way to sort this out?
Mark, could you please tell us which browser you tested in and which version.
I was using Internet Explorer 6
Can we include AdSense code en the popups?
Thank you!
Technically, Yes. But I DON’T recommend putting your adsense code in the popup as it violates Google Adsense’s terms. This will even result in getting your adsense account suspended.

I am trying to use this plug in on a client’s website, I have it all installed correctly, all the workings show up in the wp admin and I can put all the information into the text box etc. I click save and its not showing up on the site.
I checked the header.php file and the wp-head() is on the template, I am not sure why the pop up is not showing…can someone please help my client would really like to use this pop up to promote her newsletter thank you.
Rebecca, can you please give me the url of your client’s blog so that I can check it?
Sorry about that Pawan I thought I had posted it you can view her blog here http://www.morejoyonthejob.com
Thank you very much!
I had this installed on my own site and it worked fine..that is why I am so stumped…thanks again.
I checked the source of that blog but I didn’t find the plugin’s code.
There’s only two possibilities for this:
1. wp_head() is not there in the header.php file. Make sure its wp_head() NOT wp-head()
(the separating character is underscore not a dash)
2. The client has disabled the popup by checking the “Disable Popup” option at the bottom of the options page. Make sure that this option is unchecked.
Thank you Pawan, The diable Popup option is not checked at the bottom of the options page and there is the wp_header() in the header.php file I have it open now it looks like this:
” />
” title=”">
Is there someplace else I need to put the wp_head() in the coding?
Thanks again.
do I need to make anything writable in the pages in order for this to work?
I don’t remember having this issue with it when I uploaded it to my site, it has since been taken down since my hosting company said that this plug in messed up their servers….I don’t believe it but they won’t let me run it on my own site now because of that…
Hi! For some reason when I try to open this it says file cannot be read. It tries to read it with Printmaster 16 and goes nowhere.
Thanks!
Installed the new version today
and all is fine and great job guys !
However on my situation,
the lightbox effect only dims
the background and not the page elements.
Any ideas?
Warmest Regards,
Paul
How can I add an extra link to close the popup … i.e. a link that says ‘close’ at the bottom of the popup, in addition to the x at the top right corner? The reason is, I have used the popup on a site for a client. He loves the popup but couldn’t work out how to close it. (I know, it seems stupid but he’s not a technical kind of guy). So I thought if I could put a link says ‘close’ at the bottom, it would be idiot proof.
Chris, you can add this code in the popup text area:
<a href=”#” onclick=”popupWindow.closePopup()”>CLOSE</a>
Make sure you add it in the text mode and switch back to Html mode before you hit the save button.
Thanks Suman, that works perfectly
Hi,
I am having problems getting this to work I have cheked for the header wp_head() which is there and the plugin definetly isnt disabled.
I ahve obviously gone into the options> and have got open each time a new page is loaded ticked.
Any ideas?
Thanks,
Mark.
Mean’t to say is the site.
Thanks,
Mark.
Mark, this plugin no more uses the wp_head() function. To make sure that the popup appears only after the blog content is loaded, this plugin now uses “wp_footer()” which is called in the theme file “footer.php”.
Hiya,
Problem solved ! There was no wp_footer in the footer.php
Thanks Suman,
Mark.
this mean that now popup not go under flash movies in header?
so I could use it on http://www.guidacasino.eu and http://www.1casinoguide.info/
Can you add javascript inside this plugin? I mean for the pop up to display.
Shawn, you cannot add javascript code within “<script></script>” tags.
For example:
1. <script>alert(’I am javascript’);</script>
2. <input value=”submit” onclick=”alert(’I am javascript’)” type=”submit”>
The first one will not work but the second one does.
I can not get the pop up window to show up, what I have added is the email subscription sign up form from FeedBurner to my feed. Why will it not work?
Collin, make sure that you follow the steps below:
1. Goto Options >> MBP Unblockable Popup
2. Switch to “text” mode by clicking on “HTML” button in the popup text box’s toolbar
3. Copy and paste the your subscription form code in the textbox
4. Switch back to “html” mode by clicking on the “TEXT” button on toolbar
5. Click “Save” button
I was told by a friend that it was working, I don’t know forsure as I can’t see it when I go to my site.
Hi! Thanks for the great plugin!
Is there an option or how can I modify it to show the popup only when the user clicks a link on my post or page?
Can individual pages or posts load individual popups?
This plugin is exactly what i was looking for and i installed it on my website.
But a weird thing happened: a visitor in my site told me that in the page i have my plugin installed (correctly working) told me that there was publicity (commercials) on my site. Is that possible that this plugin links to other sites than mine (commercials) without my permission?
I definitely don’t want to have publicity on my site. And if this is a setting on that plugin i will desactivate it, or uninstall it.
Maybe it doesnt not anything to see with that plugin but it is weird that they told me that just 10 minutes after the plugin installation.
I am looking forward to hearing from you very soon.
Thomas, we don’t put any commercial ads in this plugin.
The user’s computer might have been infected by spyware which usually insert commercial ads in any website they like.
Thomas, rest assured that we don’t do any such activity and you can use all of our plugins without worry
